49% of Americans Oppose Trump's Impeachment
Most American citizens do not see serious grounds for the impeachment of President Donald Trump. The poll was conducted by the Wall Street Journal in collaboration with NBC, according to RBC.
Only 24% of respondents indicated that Congress already has sufficient evidence to initiate impeachment proceedings against the president. 31% said lawmakers need to clarify whether there are grounds for removing Trump from office. Meanwhile, 39% of those surveyed noted that the information gathered is inadequate, suggesting that the president should remain in office until the next elections.
In another social survey, people were asked whether Trump should be removed from office. 41% of respondents supported the impeachment, while 49% opposed it.
