«Joghvorout». The Tax Committee's Ultimatum to 9 Show Business Representatives

«Joghvorout» newspaper reports that on September 5, the head of the Tax Committee, David Ananyan, announced that despite numerous requests to submit declarations, some individuals from the show business have failed to comply. As a result, the Tax Committee has sent a final letter to them.

According to sources obtained by «Joghvorout», among the 9 show business representatives are singers Sona Shahgeldyan, Iveta Mukuchyan, Silva Hakobyan, Lilit Hovhannisyan, as well as singers Tata, Andre, and Arman Hovhannisyan. It has been noted that they have not paid taxes to the state since 2018, and despite many reminders from the Tax Committee, they have not presented or declared their income.

If the Tax Committee's final letter goes unanswered, Ananyan stated that they will conduct a preliminary calculation and forward the case to investigators. «Joghvorout» newspaper has also spoken with several producers of the singers regarding this issue. Producer Grigor Nazaryan for Tata emphasized that Tata pays taxes not as an individual entrepreneur, but through an LLC, suggesting that this may have caused some confusion.
