Gagik Khachatryan to Face Charges for Large-Scale Embezzlement and Abuse of Office, Says Arthur Vanetsyan

Director of the National Security Service, Arthur Vanetsyan, speaks to journalists near the NSS building. He reported that early in the morning, the NSS is conducting operations in residential and office spaces owned by former head of the State Revenue Committee, Gagik Khachatryan.

"From early in the morning, the investigative department of the National Security Service is carrying out investigative actions, searches are being conducted at the home of Gagik Khachatryan, in his apartment, villa, and other locations related to him and individuals connected to him," he stated.

"Former head of the State Revenue Committee and former Minister of Finance, Gagik Khachatryan, will face charges for particularly large-scale embezzlement and abuse of office. It is possible that the charges may include additional articles," Arthur Vanetsyan mentioned in a conversation with journalists.
