Zelensky Gives Up Business Interests
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has transferred his stakes in 10 companies to his partners and friends, according to lenta.ru. It is reported that Zelensky has retained only his share in the "League of Laughter" Youth Center public organization. After his presidential term ends, these stakes will be returned to him.
The President has handed over his stakes to Timur Mindich, Boris Shefir, and his brother Sergey Shefir, who has been appointed as a counselor to the head of state. In July, Sergey Shefir announced that Zelensky would return to the film business after his presidential term is over.
According to sources, stakes in eight companies involved in film and video production, as well as shares in the "Kvartal 95" television shows, have been transferred to his partner Sergey Shefir, who has become the President's First Assistant. Additionally, stakes in two other companies have been handed over to Boris Shefir, the older brother of Sergey Shefir.
