Prime Minister Directs Statistical Authorities: Hrant Bagratyan

The Prime Minister directs statistical authorities, while they only need to cite them. This was stated by former Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan on his Facebook page.

“The Prime Minister of Armenia announced that the number of officially registered unemployed in Armenia has decreased by 6.4%. Now I am not, you are. Open the official website of the State Employment Agency, and you will see that the number of unemployed has increased by 6.7%, going from 237 thousand to 253 thousand. He also says that more money has been paid to the servicemen's fund (1000-dram fund) and notes the officially registered phrase. Additionally, (a) this 1000 dram tax is illegal and a reckless measure by the previous regime (even he was against it) and (b) the Prime Minister has many powers, but he does not have the authority to announce macroeconomic figures. With this, he is directing the statistical authorities, while they only need to cite them,” Bagratyan wrote.
