Opening of the Uruguayan Consulate in Armenia
The Uruguayan consulate will open in Armenia. This was announced today during a meeting with journalists by the foreign ministers of Armenia and Uruguay.
“We will have a joyful event; the Uruguayan consulate will open in Yerevan. Last year during our meeting in the USA, the minister mentioned that there is such an intention, and this week we will have a new consulate,” said Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.
Uruguayan Foreign Minister Rodolfo Nin Novoa also stated that the opening of the consulate will be another step in establishing friendly ties between Armenia and Uruguay.
