Issues Related to the Activities of the A.I. Alikhanyan National Scientific Laboratory Discussed in Government
Today, a consultation led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took place in the government, during which issues regarding the further activities of the A.I. Alikhanyan National Scientific Laboratory (Yerevan Physics Institute) and, in particular, the application of the recently launched cyclotron accelerator were discussed.
The exchange of ideas revolved around the prospects for the use of the accelerator for scientific, research, health, economic, and technological purposes. In this context, questions related to the creation of a chain with these components and investment and infrastructure opportunities were raised.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that it is necessary to develop a comprehensive solution that will include the development of scientific-research, health, technological, and economic components, as well as revenue generation. The government leader instructed to continue discussions under this framework and present effective model options within two months.
