The Status of Karabakh Should Be Determined Through Negotiations Between Yerevan and Baku: Maria Zakharova
The position of the Russian Federation regarding the determination of the final status of Nagorno-Karabakh and the resolution of the conflict through negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan remains unchanged. This was stated today by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a briefing at the All-Russian Youth Educational Forum.
“The Russian Federation proceeds from the fact that the final status of Nagorno-Karabakh should be determined through negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. You know our position; it has not changed,” Zakharova said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry representative noted that Moscow will continue to support the peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
