In Yerablur, control will be tightened: G. Altunyan
The incident occurred in the evening. During those hours, many people come to the Yerablur area, both because it’s pleasant outside and for walks. Specifically, none of those individuals were seen, but we have the impression that they came with a hot candle and performed some ritual, afterwards scattering those candles over the gravestones and quickly leaving when they felt the staff approaching,” said Gevorg Altunyan, the head of the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense, while discussing the desecration of the graves of the April heroes in Yerablur.
According to him, the gravestones will be completely cleaned and restored. On the question of whether control is going to be tightened, Altunyan replied, “Naturally, it will be tightened until we understand what actually happened. There have been no such incidents in the past.”
