US Plans to Reduce Aid to Artsakh
The US government plans to reduce aid allocated to Artsakh. International relations expert Suren Sargsyan wrote about this on his Facebook page: "The US government intends to cut financial support for Artsakh, which aims to clear mine-contaminated areas. This is a program funded by USAID, and its cessation carries a serious political message. I urge my friends living in America to join the campaign organized by the Armenian Cause Office. I reiterate, this will have far-reaching political consequences. It will set a political and legal precedent whose implications we all understand.
P.S. The US is the only country in the world after Armenia that provides direct financial support to Stepanakert without recognizing the independence of Artsakh," he wrote.
