Incident of Stabbing a Contracted Soldier Uncovered; 19-Year-Old Confesses

On June 27, at 11:05 PM, the Vagharshapat police department received a report from a hospital stating that a 25-year-old citizen was admitted with a "stab wound to the left side of the chest." The police reported that the operational group that arrived at the scene discovered that on June 27, around 10:30 PM, during a dispute that arose at the entrance of Shahumyan village, a 19-year-old citizen stabbed the victim in the chest with a knife, causing injury.

The participants in the incident provided explanations at the police station. As a result of measures taken to identify other participants, the 19-year-old voluntarily appeared at the department at 3:15 AM on June 28 and provided a confession. Efforts are underway to locate the weapon used in the crime. A forensic examination has been ordered, and an investigation is ongoing.
