Son Inflicts Serious Bodily Harm on Father in Yerevan

On April 28, at 15:20, the police department in Erebuni received a report from a hospital stating that a 76-year-old man had been admitted with a diagnosis of "polytrauma."

The police report indicates that on May 5, a criminal case was initiated under the first part of Article 112 of the Armenian Criminal Code.

As a result of measures taken by the police, it was determined that on April 25, during an altercation in one of the houses in Saritagh, the elderly man was struck and injured by his 50-year-old son, who turned himself in to the Erebuni police department on May 21 at 14:00 and was arrested.

An investigation is underway.
