Major and Tragic Car Accident in Armavir Region: 1 Dead, 3 Injured

On May 19, a major and tragic car accident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 7:30 PM, vehicles with license plates 19 SS 900 (Mercedes) and 34 RA 258 (GAZ-3110) collided on the 16 km section of the Armavir-Karakert highway.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, one person was killed at the scene, and three others were taken to the Armavir medical center with bodily injuries. The Emergency Situations Rescue Service's fire and rescue squad from Baghramyan promptly arrived at the scene with one combat unit. The injured were extricated from the vehicles by rescuers and citizens.

The police and investigative department are working to identify the drivers, the deceased, and the injured parties.
