Iranian Man Damages Hotel Property in Yerevan, Claims Building Will Explode
On May 13, at 17:23, the director of a hotel reported to the Central Police Department that an Iranian guest was behaving inadequately and claimed that the hotel would explode in 30 minutes.
According to the police, the operational team that responded discovered that the Iranian citizen, identified as 31-year-old Vadud Gh., intentionally damaged the hotel property by letting water out in his room, while simultaneously threatening the director with a claim that the hotel would explode in 30 minutes, thereby issuing a death threat.
No weapons or explosives were found in the hotel.
At 17:25, officers from the first platoon of the police’s special task force in Yerevan apprehended Vadud Gh. from the hotel and brought him to the Central Police Department.
Materials are being prepared for further investigation.
