Man Beats Pregnant Wife and Mother in Nor Kharberd

According to Sputnik Armenia, on April 22, a 31-year-old woman living in the village of Nor Kharberd in the Ararat region was beaten while in her fifth month of pregnancy.

The husband assaulted his wife and then left the house. In fear of further violence, the terrified woman called the police for help.

Preliminary reports indicate that the 35-year-old man not only attacked his pregnant wife but also her mother.

According to neighbors, an ambulance team was summoned to the house following the arrival of the police.

Doctors provided assistance to the victims on the scene. Law enforcement is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
