Aircraft Collides with Helicopter in Nepal, Casualties Reported

An aviation accident has occurred in eastern Nepal. An aircraft collided with a helicopter at an airport. At least 3 people have been reported dead, and an additional 5 have sustained injuries. Local media outlets report this, citing local authorities.

The incident took place near the town of Lukla. While the aircraft was maneuvering on the approach path, it struck the stationary helicopter. Fortunately, there were no passengers on board the aircraft at the time of the collision; otherwise, the casualty count could have been higher. As of now, the causes of the accident have not been disclosed.

An investigation is underway regarding the incident.
