Toyota Land Cruiser Falls from Bridge, Leaving Four Injured
A major car accident occurred today, April 6, in the Ararat region. Around 00:40, Ararat city resident, 37-year-old Armen Karapetyan, driving a Toyota Land Cruiser with license plate 70 QQ 907, veered off the roadway near the 51st kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, at the section of the bridge leading to a gold extraction factory, and fell into a gorge after turning over several meters off the bridge.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, driver A. Karapetyan, along with passengers—50-year-old Varduhi Avagimyan, 55-year-old Arsen Tadevosyan, both residents of Yeraskh village, and 74-year-old Khoren Sinanyan from Armash village—were hospitalized with bodily injuries at the Ararat Medical Center.
