Suspect is His Driver

According to Armtimes.com, the individual who fired shots towards the commander of the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia was his former driver.

It is recalled that this morning, around 08:10, the Malatya police department received a call reporting gunshots in Andranik Street of the Southwestern district, and there is one injured individual. Specifically, it has been confirmed that the victim is the commander of the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense, who sustained a gunshot wound from a man born in 1962. The suspect has already been detained and taken to the police department.

A criminal case has been initiated under Articles 34-104 and 235, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia for attempted murder and for the illegal acquisition and possession of weapons and military supplies.
