Whoever Did This Is a Person Without Sanctity: Osipyan on the Theft at Yerablur
The police are investigating incidents of theft from vehicles parked near the "Yerablur" military pantheon that occurred on April 2. This was stated by Police Chief Valeri Osipyan to reporters after a government meeting.
“I unequivocally condemn such an act, especially in a place like Yerablur. However, I inform you that things were not quite as presented. There are certain individuals in the public who claim that it happened in the presence of law enforcement. Yes, for security reasons, there were police officers and other agency representatives present; however, when the scheduled event concluded, the police's presence also ended, and the incident occurred in areas where it could not be visible,” said the police chief.
He noted, “whoever did this is a person without sanctity.”
It is noteworthy that on April 2, while honoring the memory of the victims of the April 2016 war at the "Yerablur" military pantheon, the window of a vehicle belonging to the relatives of fallen soldier Armen Urfanian was broken, and a large sum of money was stolen. A similar attack also targeted the vehicle of a reporter from News.am news site.
