Fire in the National Assembly Building: No Injuries Reported
On April 4, at 01:38, the 911 service received a call reporting a fire on the first floor of the National Assembly building in Yerevan.
A total of six firefighting units responded to the scene with a fire complexity level of “number 2,” along with a rapid response team from the Crisis Management National Center.
It was determined that the fire had erupted in room number 139 of the first building of the National Assembly located at Baghramyan 19, specifically belonging to the “Department of Improvement and Maintenance of Assembly Buildings.”
The fire was contained by 01:57 and extinguished by 02:05.
All office furniture (including 1 refrigerator, 1 desk, 1 coffee table, 4 chairs, 1 sofa, 1 cabinet, 1 window, and 2 computers) in the office belonging to deputy head V.B. (18 sq. m) was completely burned. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported due to the incident.
