Armenian Demining Unit in Syria Left Without Commander

The newspaper "Zhamanak" reports: "On March 7th, an Armenian deminer lost his foot due to an explosion in Syria. According to our information, he is the commander of the demining unit operating within the Armenian humanitarian mission in Syria. He is currently in Moscow, and after completing his treatment, he will return to Yerevan.

Meanwhile, in Armenia, they have been unable to find a suitably trained officer who would agree to go to Syria and assume the commander’s duties."
