We Are Currently in Artsakh: Sharmazanov

A candlelight vigil was held at the Holy Mother of God Church in Dadivank in memory of the victims of the April war. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Republican Party of Armenia, Edward Sharmazanov, on his Facebook page.

In his post, he notably stated:

“We are currently in Artsakh at the renowned Dadivank. Here, Armenian identity and the victorious spirit of Christianity prevail completely. That victory has been forged by our fallen and living heroes.

I am convinced that our nation’s great victories are still ahead. As Nzhdeh would say, ‘Nations that are focused solely on the present shrink and stagnate spiritually. Those people live half-lives who do not mix the images of their past with hopes for their future.’

Here in Artsakh, the vision of our nation’s past bridges the bright hopes for our future.

P.S. On April 2, 1990, Ashot Navasaradyan established the Republican Party of Armenia on the foundation of the Independence Army, with the aim of creating a national and powerful state and liberating Artsakh.

Twenty-nine years after its establishment, for us Republicans, a favorable resolution of the Artsakh issue continues to remain one of our top priorities. Our prayers are directed to God for the unity of our people, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Artsakh, and the Armenian Diaspora.
