Man Dies from Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in Shirak Province, Several Injured
In the village of Benyamin in Shirak Province, a fatal incident of carbon monoxide poisoning has occurred today. According to preliminary information, 80-year-old V. Sh. died due to gas leakage in his own apartment. His grandchildren and son, who were at home at the time, have been taken to the 'Gyumri' medical center and the 'Mother and Child' Austrian hospital, respectively.
The condition of the children is assessed as stable. S. Sh. is currently in the intensive care unit of the 'Gyumri' medical center. The deputy director of the center, Armen Khachatryan, stated in an interview with Jirayr that the patient's condition is considered serious, and he is receiving medical assistance. The preliminary diagnosis is severe exogenous poisoning.
