If Tonoyan Made Another Statement, I Would Dismiss Him, Says Pashinyan
Today, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, addressing Defense Minister David Tonoyan's controversial statement, declared that if the minister had made a different announcement, he would have dismissed him from his position.
“If, God forbid, there is a war, our goal must be to win that war,” emphasized the Prime Minister. He continued, stating that the peaceful negotiation process should continue, but it is also important to understand that the conflict is not resolved.
It is worth recalling that during his official visit to the United States, at a meeting with the Armenian community in New York, Defense Minister David Tonoyan stated, “As the Minister of Defense, I say—‘territories for peace’ has been reformulated today as ‘new war for new territories.’”
