Horrific Incident in Yerevan: Son Stabs Mother to Death

On April 1, a murder of singular brutality occurred in Yerevan, reports Shamshyan.com.

At around 8:00 PM, the Yerevan police's operational management center received a report of a woman's body found in an apartment at 1 Gay Street.

Police and investigators discovered the body of the 49-year-old owner, identified as N. M., in the kitchen of the house. According to preliminary conclusions from the forensic examination, there are multiple wounds on the body caused by a sharp cutting or stabbing object.

Authorities have determined that the murder was committed by the victim's son, 25-year-old Hakob Khanamiryants.

Police officers from Nor Nork, along with investigators, located the suspect and brought him in for questioning. The kitchen knife that served as the murder weapon was also found.
