'Fact' newspaper writes: 'The issue of the National Assembly cleaners is gaining new developments. Yesterday, information emerged that many of them are already submitting applications for dismissal.

'According to our sources, this “rebellion” has intriguing layers; reports indicate that Alen Simonian, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, is interested in this cleaning business, and it is his associate's company that won the competition for organizing cleanliness in the National Assembly.

Moreover, our sources claim that Simonian has personally called several rectors of major universities to ensure that this company wins the cleaning work contracts for these universities.

For this to happen, the rectors need to cancel the existing contracts under various pretexts and announce new competitions. This circumstance is also why it was Simonian who was eagerly negotiating with the cleaners.'
