VIDEO: The National Assembly Continues Discussion on Government Program Implementation Report

The National Assembly of Armenia is continuing its regular session activities. The report on the implementation and results of the Government program, approved by the Armenian Government's decision No. 581-A dated June 2018, is being discussed. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is answering questions from the deputies.

It is noteworthy that while presenting the economic indicators for the current year to the parliament, the Prime Minister emphasized that state budget revenues in 2019 will exceed expectations by 40 billion drams, which will enable a 10 percent increase in the salaries of the Armed Forces personnel from July, and a raise for about 38,000 teachers starting in September.

Subsequently, the National Assembly will discuss the draft law on amendments and changes to the Law on State Pensions of the Republic of Armenia in its second reading.

It is worth mentioning that immediately after the conclusion of the National Assembly's regular session, an extraordinary session will convene according to the agenda set by the initiator.
