Road Closed, Access Corridor Created for Presidential Vehicles: Aghajanyan
Eduard Aghajanyan, the head of the Government Staff of Armenia, wrote on his Facebook page.
“Dear citizens,
This is a parking area designated for the vehicles of the Government of Armenia. It was constructed on Forest Street and later closed on both sides with barriers, resulting in it being an access corridor exclusively for presidential vehicles for years.
As a result of this action, Forest Street ceased to serve as a connecting road between Ler Kamsar and Baghramyan streets, causing significant inconvenience not only for local residents but also for all drivers in general. This isolation further increased traffic on Baghramyan Street.
Upon receiving complaints from local residents, we decided to accommodate and remove the barriers. From now on, all drivers will be able to bypass the traffic jams on Baghramyan Street towards Ler Kamsar Street via the now-open corridor of Forest Street.”
