Ararat Mirzoyan in Berlin: Last Time the Speaker Visited Germany Was 25 Years Ago

Ararat Mirzoyan's delegation has already arrived in Berlin. Interestingly, the last time a Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia visited Germany on an official trip was exactly 25 years ago, back in 1994, as reported by Mirzoyan's assistant Vahan Kostanyan.

The agenda of the visit includes meetings of the parliamentary leader with Bundestag President Wolfgang Schäuble, Bundestag Vice President Petra Pau, the head of the Germany-South Caucasus Friendship Group Johannes Kahrs, Berlin Parliament President Ralph Wieland, Saarland State Parliament President Stefan Toscani, and the Presidency of the German-Armenian Forum.

The delegation headed by the National Assembly President will also visit the German Parliamentary Society (DPG), the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), and Saarland University.

The parliamentary delegation includes Armenian National Assembly members Ruben Rubinyan, Lilit Makunts, Edmond Marukyan, Naira Zohrabyan, and Tsovinar Vardanyan.
