206 Emergency Incidents Registered in Armenia Over One Week, Reports Ministry of Emergency Situations
The National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia recorded a total of 353 incidents from March 11 to March 17, of which 206 were classified as emergencies.
During this period, there were 109 domestic calls, 139 fires, and 49 traffic accidents, resulting in 2 fatalities and 46 injuries. Additionally, as a result of rescue operational activities, 4 citizens were saved.
Due to weather conditions, there were 25 incidents of vehicles being blocked. Rescuers assisted 118 citizens and safely relocated 61 vehicles blocked on roadways.
Throughout the week, there were also 7 cases of poisoning, affecting 9 individuals.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia urges citizens to remain vigilant both at home and on the roads and to adhere to basic safety rules.
