Three-Car Accident on Yerevan-Sevan Highway: Injuries Reported

On March 16, at 23:41, emergency services received a call reporting an accident on the Yerevan-Sevan highway, near the "Shangri La" casino, with a gas leak requiring rescue assistance.

The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed News.am that a firefighting and rescue team from the ministry was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that vehicles involved in the collision at the 12th km of the M-4 highway were a "VAZ-2107" (driver: A. H., born in 1983), an "Opel Astra G" (driver: K. H., born in 1985), and an "Opel Vectra B" (driver: E. M.).

Before the rescuers arrived, A. H. and K. H. were hospitalized at a medical center in Abovyan, where doctors evaluated their condition as satisfactory.

The rescuers disconnected the batteries of the "Opel Astra G" and "Opel Vectra B" and closed the gas cylinder valves.
