We Must Not Tolerate Street Meat Sales, Says Pashinyan
Protecting consumer rights is an absolute priority for us, and we should not consider commercial processes or link them to social security.
This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speech at a business conference held at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel on the occasion of International Consumer Rights Day.
According to him, linking street trade to social security is unacceptable. “We must not regard or connect these commercial processes with social security and protection. If we tolerate street meat sales, thinking we are solving a social issue, it means we are accepting that our country will be one of low standards, not only in terms of protecting consumer rights but also concerning social protection,” he noted.
