Pontyon, along with his two brothers, Hakob and Gevorg Harutyunyan, entered the office of 'Baghnici' that day, got into an argument with the director, 'Baghnici Arman', and a young man accompanying him, and fired shots. As a result of the gunfire, both 'Baghnici Arman' and the young man sustained gunshot wounds. At the same time, Pontyon's brother, Gevorg Harutyunyan, also suffered stab and cutting wounds.
