Charges Against Former Mayor of Hrazdan

The former head of the Hrazdan community in Kotayk Province, Aram Danielyan, has been charged under part 3 of Article 179 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement or misappropriation of particularly large amounts).

According to the RA Investigative Committee, Aram Danielyan is accused of committing embezzlement or misappropriation of particularly large amounts by an organized group. It should be noted that this offense is punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to eight years, with or without the confiscation of property.

A measure of restraint in the form of a signature not to leave has been selected for Aram Danielyan.

In this case, there are also 8 other defendants, all of whom are former employees of the community administration. They have also been charged under part 3 of Article 179 of the Criminal Code.
