Major Accident Involving BMW X5 in Gegharkunik Region, Injuries Reported
A major car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Today, on March 7, around 18:00, a 33-year-old resident of Gegharkunik village, Arayik Karapetyan, lost control of his BMW X5, license plate 80 DD 333, on H. Abrahamyan Street in Sarukhan village. The vehicle veered off the roadway and rolled over multiple times, landing in a field.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the crash, a passenger and fellow villager of the driver, 34-year-old Nahapet Ayvazyan, sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital in Gavar.
Officers from the 1st platoon of the 4th battalion of the second traffic police division arrived at the scene, led by platoon commander Edgar Suslyan.
