Grenade Found Near 2nd km of the Metsamor-Mayisyan Highway

On March 6, at 14:55, a report was received by the "911" service that a grenade was found near the 2nd km of the Metsamor-Mayisyan highway in the Armavir region, necessitating the assistance of rescuers.

Operational groups from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the National Center for Crisis Management, as well as an engineering and rescue unit from the civil defense administration, were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the grenade found was a type G-1 training (imitation) grenade.

The rescuers neutralized the grenade and handed it over to police officers.
