Body of 40-Year-Old Man Found in Yerevan Hotel, Suspicious Syringes Discovered on Table
A mysterious incident has occurred in Yerevan. On March 3, at around 12:30 PM, the police received a call reporting that a man's body was found in one of the rooms of the "Niagara" hotel complex located at 88 Bagrevandi Street.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an operational group from the Nor Nork police department arrived at the scene, led by department head Karen Buniatyan and deputy head of operations Poghosyan.
The police discovered the body of 40-year-old Artem Karapetyan, a resident of the Republic of Artsakh, in room 304 of the hotel complex. An external examination by a forensic expert revealed no signs of violence on the body. According to G. Shamshyan, police found two empty syringes on the table in the living room, while a brownish powdery substance was discovered in the pocket of the deceased's trousers.
