Rescuers Free Approximately 500 Vehicles from Blockage

As of March 2 at 21:30, the Goris-Yerevan and Sisian-Goris road sections are open in one direction. Rescuers and police personnel are conducting monitoring activities. Traffic is being carried out with certain restrictions. Snow removal operations are ongoing.

This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

As of 18:05, rescuers have freed approximately 500 vehicles from the blockade at the 12th km of the M-2 highway Goris-Yerevan and the 28th km of Sisian-Goris.

The road is now accessible for two-way traffic.

A total of 62 rescuers participated in the rescue operations.

Monitoring has been established by the 57th Rescue Department at the 12th km of the Goris-Yerevan section.
