Pashinyan's Competitor: The Prime Minister's Thoughts Are Confused
The newspaper "Irates" writes: "The recent meetings of President Armen Sarkissian have disrupted the serenity of the Prime Minister and his circle. The high-level meetings that Armen Sarkissian had in Germany, within the framework of the Munich Security Conference, have, to put it mildly, confused Nikol Pashinyan's thoughts.
Understanding well the prospect of increasing the president's rating and decreasing his own, according to our sources, the Prime Minister is trying to create a negative informational backdrop around the president.
This means that since Armen Sarkissian has almost no powers under the Constitution, his 'big visions' expressed abroad and meetings with high-ranking officials are nothing but words hanging in the air, as the Constitution offers him no leverages to bring them to life.
In the face of the president, Nikol Pashinyan sees a serious competitor who could play a significant role in politically unpredictable developments."
