Putin Congratulates Pashinyan
Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory telegram to Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of his appointment as Prime Minister of Armenia. This was reported by the Kremlin's press service.
“Vladimir Putin noted, in particular, that the relations between Russia and Armenia are based on the good traditions of friendship and mutual respect. The two countries have accumulated significant experience of full cooperation in various fields,” the statement said.
The Russian leader expressed hope that the dialogue between the two countries and constructive joint work will contribute to the further strengthening of Armenian-Russian allied interaction, as well as to the advancement of integration processes in the Eurasian space. “This certainly corresponds to the interests of our fraternal peoples,” emphasized Vladimir Putin in his telegram.
It is noteworthy that the Russian leader was one of the first foreign leaders to congratulate Nikol Pashinyan on his appointment as Prime Minister.
