Tense Situation in Iran: Protesters Leave No Stone Unturned
Iran's major media outlets have resumed publishing news following a several-hour break. This restoration of information flow comes amid ongoing protests and internet connectivity disruptions in the country.
Earlier reports indicated that the websites of Iran's official news agencies and messaging platforms had temporarily become inaccessible. These outages coincided with a rise in public tension and mass protest actions.
In particular, the channels of IRNA, ISNA, Nour News, and Mehr agencies, which operate actively on Telegram, as well as the Khabar Fouri news aggregator, did not update their pages for several hours. During this time, new publications also failed to appear on several other media platforms.
According to some local media, protests in Iran are taking place in over 100 cities. Internet access is restricted. Meanwhile, pro-government media portray the situation as calm in various cities.
