Washington Begins Sale of Venezuelan Oil: US Department of Energy
According to the US Department of Energy, Washington has started selling Venezuelan oil in the global market.
"Funds generated from the sale of Venezuelan oil will be transferred to US accounts," the department stated.
According to the announcement, these funds will be spent "in the interest of the American and Venezuelan people" and exclusively at the discretion of the US government.
