The Issue of Greenland Appears Resolved; Is Canada Next? Says Russian President's Representative
The matter of Greenland seems to be resolved. This was stated by Kirill Dmitriev, the special representative of the President of Russia, on social media platform X.
"The EU will continue to do what vassals do best — watch the situation and display double standards. The issue of Greenland, it seems, has already been decided. Is Canada next?" wrote the Russian President's special representative.
It is noteworthy that former U.S. President Donald Trump had expressed ambitions regarding Greenland earlier, claiming that Greenland was necessary for national security reasons, and suggested that Denmark could not take that responsibility.
Moreover, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen remarked that if the United States were to initiate a military attack on another NATO country, it would result in the end of everything, including NATO, and consequently, the security established after World War II.
