Tensions Rise in Tehran as Protesters Move Toward Parliament
Tensions have escalated in Tehran as protesters march toward the parliament, according to Iranian media reports. Earlier reports had indicated that protesters had managed to drive security forces out of Khorramabad and establish control over government institutions.
It is worth noting that during the ongoing street protests in Iran, which have lasted for nine days, at least 35 people have been killed, and more than 1,200 protesters have been arrested.
