False Information Circulating Regarding Issuance of Driver's Licenses: Ministry of Internal Affairs

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) urges citizens to remain vigilant as driver's licenses are issued only in accordance with the law.

False information and videos regarding 'mediated' or 'simplified' methods of driver's license issuance, purportedly from the MIA, are spreading across various social platforms. This statement was released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“We would like to inform you that such publications are fraudulent and do not reflect reality. Criminal proceedings have been initiated. Dear citizens, be vigilant and do not fall for scams. A driver's license can only be obtained through the legally established procedures,” the statement reads.
