Washington Sees a 'Stimulus' for Moscow
The United States is interested in having Russia return to the global economy as a stimulus to avoid future conflicts. This was reported by a senior American official to The Washington Post.
According to the American official, Washington's approach is based on the idea that economic integration can reduce the risks of military escalation. In the U.S., it is believed that if Moscow has a stable place in the global economic system, it could serve as an additional incentive to avoid new wars in the future.
The U.S. official emphasized that international relations are constantly changing, and relationships between countries should be assessed not through past conflicts but in the context of current and future interests.
