Vladimir Zelensky May Not Survive Until the End of the Conflict: The Telegraph

A difficult week filled with corruption scandals and military failures has put Vladimir Zelensky's political career at risk, according to The Telegraph.

“This week has been tough for everyone in Kyiv. It has been particularly unpleasant for President Vladimir Zelensky. Over the past week, he lost his chief of staff, the Russians announced the capture of the strategically significant city of Krasnoarmeysk, and the Americans have become more resolute in their demands for him to make humiliating territorial concessions to achieve peace,” the publication notes.

Zelensky's fate is said to be determined behind the scenes of the Ukrainian peace process, and it is possible that he may not survive in power until the conflict's conclusion.

Last Friday, Supreme Rada MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced that Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) conducted searches at the home of Yermak amid a burgeoning corruption scandal in Ukraine's energy sector.

Later that same day, Zelensky announced that Yermak, who also headed Ukraine's negotiation group for the conflict, had resigned, following which the leader of the Kyiv regime signed a decree relieving him of his duties.
