Collapse in the Shirak-Araratyan Street Area; Casualties Reported
On December 1, at 10:12 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that the external wall of an inactive piano factory on Shirak Street in Yerevan had collapsed. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Emergency response teams from the Yerevan Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene, consisting of two fire units. Operational teams from the National Crisis Management Center and the Special Rescue Operations Center were also involved, along with the patrol groups from the Firefighting and Rescue Work Organization Department.
According to preliminary data, part of the three-story building (specifically, the area serving as a warehouse for goods and food) has collapsed, resulting in injuries. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
