Lukashenko Calls on Ukrainians to Relocate to Belarus
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, in his recent speech, appealed to the citizens of Ukraine, suggesting they relocate to Belarus. According to him, Ukrainian families will be provided with the same conditions in the country as Belarusian citizens, particularly in the fields of education and healthcare.
“I urge you, come, Ukrainians. We will ensure a dignified life for your families and children, just like our citizens,” Lukashenko stated.
This statement comes at a time when Belarus continues to support Russia's military operations against Ukraine. Earlier, Lukashenko had also spoken about bringing in laborers from other countries, notably Pakistan, to compensate for population loss; however, that initiative did not materialize.
