Hungarian Funds Will Not Be Sent to Ukraine, Orban States
The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, has reiterated his firm stance on financing for Ukraine. His statements were shared on social media by government spokesperson Zoltan Kovacs.
"The Hungarian reality is that the war is close, but it is not our war. There is no unity in Europe regarding the EU's membership discussions for Ukraine, and without our participation, that will not happen. Hungarian funds will not be directed to Ukraine. As long as there is a national government in Hungary, that will not occur," he said.
